Former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry set social media buzzing after posting a couple of stunning photos from a recent event. Fans rushed to her comment section, praising both her look and her journey.
The 40-year-old media personality stunned in a fitted burgundy halter dress with a deep V-neckline and high side slits.
The post came shortly after a candid update by McHenry. On May 1, she reflected on her birthday and her health journey. “I’ll be 40 next month. Do I look it? I’d complain but after cancer I’m happy for every day I have here,” she wrote.

In 2020, doctors discovered a large grade 2 astrocytoma in McHenry’s left frontal lobe after she underwent medical testing. She later shared updates from the hospital and revealed that doctors planned brain surgery.
McHenry underwent an eight-hour craniotomy at Johns Hopkins on March 4, 2020. Doctors successfully removed the tumor, and she spent the following years focused on recovery and awareness efforts.
This year, McHenry celebrated six years since the life-changing procedure with a lot of emotions.
“6 years ago, I had brain surgery for an astrocytoma brain tumor,” she wrote. “It should have been the scariest day of my life. I was weirdly calm and playing ‘Escape The Pina Colada’ song on loop. Thank you to Dr. Henry Brem and Johns Hopkins for saving my life.”
She gave a beautiful message to her followers, saying, “If you can get through the toughest times in life, you can get through anything.”
Indeed, this is a real comeback.
