Travis Hunter entered the NFL carrying high expectations after a terrific college career. The wide receiver/cornerback put up a show with the Colorado Buffaloes, impacting the game on both ends.
The Jacksonville Jaguars allowed him to play on offense and defense, but his season was cut short after he suffered a torn lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his right knee in practice late in the 2025 campaign.
Many thought the load he carried playing on both ends of the ball played a big role in his injury. Hunter expressed his desire to keep his role in 2026, but the Jaguars may have different plans.

He played seven games in 2025, getting 45 targets on offense. He caught 28 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown.
The Jaguars will try to bounce back after a disappointing playoff exit last season. With a revamped offense, they could achieve big things in 2026. It remains to be seen if Hunter gets some snaps on defense.
