Matthew Stafford vs. Josh Allen on Monday Night Football was everything that NFL fans love to see from two quarterbacks. It was a back-and-forth contest that would not end until the final play.

In total, the game featured six lead changes and 890 yards of combined total offense. Stafford completed 40 of 54 passes for 383 yards and threw three touchdowns without an interception.

Conversely, Allen was a dual threat all game long. He tossed 210 passing yards and ran for a spectacular 121 rushing yards on the ground.

Both superstar quarterbacks traded big scores constantly during a wild 35-point fourth-quarter stretch that would lead into overtime. That is where more fun happened.

In the fourth quarter, the Rams were able to force overtime in the final drive with Kyren Williams’ one-yard touchdown run. Before the OT kicked off, mic’d up footage showed what Matthew Stafford said to Allen.

Stafford greeted Allen with a “you son of a gun” just before the handshake. After the Bills won, both quarterbacks met in the middle of the field for a postgame handshake.

With the victory, the Bills improved to 4-1 while the Rams dropped to 2-3. Despite all of the hype, the Rams are not looking like the scary team everyone thought they would be.

Meanwhile, Josh Allen has his Bills squad rolling and looking like they may run away with the AFC East. Unfortunately, Josh Allen is only going to be judged by what he does in the postseason. Anything less than a Super Bowl trip is a massive failure.
