It’s been three years since Lamar Jackson revealed he requested a trade from the Baltimore Ravens; some insist that he could leave the AFC North franchise soon.

Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP (the first to be unanimous in league history), has yet to play a Super Bowl. He has been close, but shortcomings have hurt his plans.

He could join a team with serious Super Bowl aspirations soon. Its quarterback carries a lot of pressure entering the 2026 season, and Jackson could take advantage of that if he decides to call it a day with Baltimore.

On Monday, Jason La Canfora of Sports Illustrated wrote that Howie Roseman could try to make a move for Jackson to replace Jalen Hurts.

“If the Eagles are still looking to upgrade at QB after this season,” La Canfora wrote. “I could see Howie Roseman inserting himself into this Lamar situation in a big deal. If Jackson isn’t extended by Week 1, they will be hanging a huge ‘Call Us About Our Quarterback After The Season’ sign on the front of their franchise.”

Jackson on the Eagles would be fireworks. However, he will start a new era with the Ravens. They signed Jesse Minter to replace John Harbaugh and Jackson has renewed expectations in an AFC that will have plenty of contenders.
