An internet detective uncovered the final snap of Mack Hollins’ 2025 regular season before he landed on the injured reserve.

Earlier today, the New England Patriots announced that Mack Hollins was placed on the IR with an abdomen injury. He has to miss a minimum of four games, so the soonest Hollins could return is the AFC Championship Game.

Or, if the Patriots secure the first-round bye and win their first two playoff games, Hollins wouldn’t be able to return until the Super Bowl.

If Mack Hollins doesn’t return this season? His final snap of 2025 will have been this epic celebration in last week’s 28-24 road win over the Baltimore Ravens:

Obviously, it will be the most welcoming of returns if Hollins ends up playing another snap this season.

As great as Drake Maye has been as a sophomore, Stefon Diggs is really his only game-changing pass-catcher. Hollins’ injury is a big blow for New England, as he’s third on the team with 550 yards, per Pro Football Reference.

Diggs leads the team with 869 receiving yards, followed tight end Hunter Henry with 663. So with Hollins sidelined, it’s on Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels to figure out how to get other weapons more involved if they’re to embark on a deep playoff run.

The Patriots visit the New York Jets on Sunday and will conclude their regular season in Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins.
