Steelers fans are talking about Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers after a tense moment during a touchdown celebration at Lambeau Field. The incident spread fast on social media and people started giving opinions.

Flowers scored on a 10-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter to give Baltimore a bigger lead. After the score, he jumped into the stands to celebrate with a Ravens fan, doing his own version of the Lambeau Leap.

Things suddenly changed. A Packers fan sitting nearby shoved Flowers, pushing him back toward the field. A nearby security officer stepped in right away and scolded the fan. The situation ended quickly and did not turn into anything bigger.

Fans Demand Action On Flowers After Similar Incidents

Steelers fans actually compared the moment to a recent incident involving Pittsburgh wide receiver DK Metcalf. Metcalf clashed with a Detroit Lions fan during a game last week. He later received a two-game suspension from the league.

That decision fueled loud reactions online after Flowers’ celebration. Many Steelers fans demanded similar punishment.

One fan wrote, “If dk is suspended so should zay.”

Another posted, “Suspend Zay Flowers!!!!!!!”

Others pushed back and pointed out clear differences between the two scenes.

One fan responded, “This isn’t even comparable. He was embracing a ravens fan and a packers fan got mad and started grabbing at the player.”

Another comment added a jab towards Flowers, saying, “He doesn’t get in the end zone often so he doesn’t know how to act.”

The Metcalf situation still has unanswered questions. Reports said a fan used racial and offensive language toward Metcalf. The fan later denied those claims during a press conference this week. Even so, the NFL went ahead with the suspension.

The league has dealt with several fan-related incidents this season. Earlier this year, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had an issue at Highmark Stadium. A fan slapped the helmets of Ravens players, and Jackson pushed the fan back into his seat. Stadium officials later banned that fan from all NFL venues.

So far, the NFL has not said anything about the Flowers incident. The video keeps spreading online, and fans continue to argue. Meanwhile, Flowers remains active and focused on playing football.
