Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff used the NFL offseason to share a special update with fans. The Detroit Lions quarterback posted family photos from a recent trip to Northern California, showing what his life looks like away from football.
According to Sports Illustrated reporter Cara O’Bleness, the Goff family traveled during Super Bowl weekend. The game was held in Santa Clara on February 8. Goff also took part in the Pro Bowl Games in California and turned the trip into a family vacation with his wife, Christen, and their baby daughter, Romy.
He shared the pictures in what he called a “photo dump” on Instagram. The post included five photos of Romy, who was born in July. In one picture, she smiled while sitting on her dad’s shoulders. Max fans left supportive and happy comments.
Goff Enjoying Family Time And Career Highs
The trip marked a meaningful stop for Goff. He captioned the post with “415,” the area code for the region where he grew up. The quarterback visited Marin Catholic and the University of California, Berkeley, where he played high school and college football.
O’Bleness described the snapshots as the “sweetest” and noted that fans, friends, and followers reacted warmly in the comments. “We’re not the only ones who loved the sweet family moments,” she wrote, pointing to the image of Romy smiling mid-photo.
The offseason was a big time for both Jared Goff and his wife, Christen. Goff made the Pro Bowl after a strong 2025 season. He completed 68 percent of his passes for 4,564 yards, threw 37 touchdowns, and had 12 interceptions. He averaged 7.9 yards per throw and helped the Detroit Lions finish with a 9-8 record.
Christen had her own big news. On February 5, she shared that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit chose her as one of its digital cover models for February 2026.
