Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman allegedly shoved the mother of his child into a structural wall. Law enforcement reports confirm the violent dispute centered around the victim’s past relationship decisions and actions. Furthermore, he reportedly called his romantic partner a liar before demanding she pack up.

Following that, Bateman arrived at a separate meeting location, driving a black luxury sport-utility vehicle. Subsequently, investigators state he used a metal screwdriver to violently strike her passenger windows and tires. The shattered glass fragments caused multiple facial lacerations on the victim during the terrifying outdoor encounter.

Inside that vehicle was her 3-month-old daughter.

As a result of this situation, Bateman faces charges of family violence battery, reckless conduct, and felony property damage. Meanwhile, his attorney stated that the situation had been taken out of context.

Speaking to TMZ, Bateman’s attorney Jordan Siev said: It is unfortunate that a personal family situation has been taken completely out of context for sensational reasons.

‘We will let the court process play out, and the facts will come out at that time.’

Additionally, the NFL is reviewing the incident under its personal conduct policy. Therefore, Bateman could face a multi-game league suspension.

Losing Rashod Bateman for any amount of time would hurt. During the 2025 NFL regular season, Bateman endured an injury-plagued campaign, limiting his production over 13 games. He recorded 19 receptions throughout the injury-plagued campaign.

Those catches translated into a total of 224 receiving yards. Bateman found the end zone twice, finishing with 2 receiving touchdowns.
