The Buffalo Bills entered the 2026 NFL offseason with more questions to answer following a disappointing end to the 2025 campaign. The AFC East team couldn’t take advantage of the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals all missing the playoffs to win the Super Bowl, and ended up losing to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round.

The Bills’ receiving corps received plenty of criticism. Ever since Stefon Diggs, they haven’t had a true WR1. Despite entering the league with high expectations, Keon Coleman hasn’t lived up to them, leaving fans wondering if his time with the Bills should come to an end.

Coleman, 22, entered the league as the No. 33 pick in the 2024 NFL draft. After two seasons at Highmark Stadium, he has only 67 receptions for 960 yards and eight touchdowns to show. The buzz around the league is that the Bills would move on from him.

Bills Urged To Replace Keon Coleman With Michael Pittman Jr.

Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport wrote on Monday that the Buffalo Bills could try to maximize Michael Pittman Jr.’s talents. The emergence of Alec Pierce might prompt the front office to move on from Pittman. In this trade, the Bills would get Pittman and a sixth-round pick in 2026, while the Colts would get Coleman and a fifth-rounder in April.

“Pittman hasn’t been as productive the past two seasons as he was earlier in his career, but the seventh-year veteran has a pair of 1,000-yard seasons on his NFL resume,” Davenport wrote. “Even if he’s not the true ‘alpha’ wideout the Buffalo Bills so badly need, he’d be a sizable upgrade to the team’s passing-game weapons. He’d also likely be amenable to an extension that would drop his cap hit in 2026.”

Josh Allen has been linked with a series of wide receivers in recent times. A.J. Brown sounded like a good option for the Bills, while Brandon Aiyuk’s unclear future with the San Francisco 49ers also makes him a strong option for Buffalo.
