Deion Sanders has weighed in on Robert Griffin III’s future following his departure from ESPN, but his latest idea did not receive the reaction he may have expected. 

Sanders shared a post on X proposing a new sports talk show featuring Ryan Clark, Cam Newton and RGIII.

“Saturday morning just thinking what if @Realrclark25 @CameronNewton & @RGIII had their own Show that spoke about football and other topics!” Coach Prime shared. “Wow that would be a Show Show! What y’all think? Be honest and no Hate! Express thoughts without hate.”

Fans immediately dismissed the idea in the comments.

One user wrote, “I think you lost em on the RG3 lol.”

Another commented, “TBH it would be closer to The View than a football show.”

“If this happened it could be used to torture people,” one user joked.

Another added, “RG3 is the only one of the 3 that even semi-stays on topic of football.”

“You could probably join them after another s***ty season in Colorado,” someone else suggested.

Sanders’ proposal arrives after ESPN parted ways with Griffin as part of its latest round of talent changes.

It also comes just after Clark and RGIII exchanged pointed remarks on social media, including Clark’s controversial comments regarding Griffin’s interracial marriage, further fueling tensions between the former NFL players.

Whether Sanders was serious or simply brainstorming remains unclear. However, based on the early responses, many X users were not sold on the idea of the trio sharing a studio.
