Final Cause of Death For Vikings WR Rondale Moore Revealed

The cause of death of Rondale Moore has reportedly been revealed. He was found dead on Saturday night in New Albany, Indiana, at just 25 years old.
There were very few public details so far regarding Moore’s death at the time, but that has since changed.
Chief Todd Bailey of the New Albany Police Department said that Moore was found with what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, TMZ Sports reported.

However, the investigation is still ongoing, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the official cause of death. He was found dead in the garage of a property on the 1600 block of Ekin Avenue in New Albany.
“The New Albany Police Department is conducting a death investigation at 1611 Ekin Av in New Albany,” Bailey said in a statement.
“Rondale Moore (age 25) was found deceased in the garage of the property of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“The New Albany Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the incident. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no additional information will be released at this time.”

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore was found dead Saturday in New Albany, Indiana. He died of a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound, New Albany police chief Todd Bailey.
Tributes poured in from all over as Kansas City Chiefs star Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown revealed that Moore had messaged him just hours before his death. Brown and Moore were teammates with the Arizona Cardinals from 2022 to 2023.
Tyrone Tracy Jr., a running back for the New York Giants, also said he had recently spoken with Moore. Buffalo Bills cornerback Darius Slay wrote, “Man U gots to appreciate everyday.. It’s a blessing to wake up.”
Vikings’ quarterback J.J. McCarthy also shared his condolences on his passing.
Minnesota Vikings’ head coach Kevin O’Connell wrote a message via ESPN insider Adam Schefter about how he and the team will remember Rondale Moore.
“He was a humble, soft-spoken, and respectful young man who was proud of his Indiana roots,” O’Connell said.
“As a player, he was disciplined, dedicated, and resilient. Despite facing adversity multiple times as injuries sidelined him throughout his career.”
Moore did not catch a pass during the regular season with the Vikings. He previously played for the Cardinals and left with 135 receptions for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns. At age 25, he had way more life to live.
