San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne sort of put his wife on blast after earning an extra half-a-mil last week.

Bourne triggered a $500,000 contract incentive against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16. He needed to reach the 500 receiving-yard mark to do so.

The WR was pretty excited and forgot to keep the ball he caught to hit the number. He also sold his wife out, exposing her expensive taste.

Bourne has gotten to 500 yards three times in his career. But this season marked his first since he tallied 800 for the New England Patriots in 2021.

The wideout signed a one-year deal to return to the Niners in September. He spent his first four years in the NFL with the NFC West side before spending the next four in New England.

He secured an additional $500 last week and can take home another $250,000 if he gets to 600 yards.

NBC’s Melissa Stark discussed the incentive during the 49ers’ win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. She revealed he forgot all about the ball.

She also let the player’s wife, Vanessa, know she’d been dimed out.

“He said he’s glad it’s over because he never wants to create a distraction. But it was perfect timing, right before Christmas,” Stark said.“Because he said, ‘My wife Vanessa is expensive.”

She added:

“So she was just as happy as I was.’ Yes, Vannessa, he sold you out. And how about this? He has another incentive on the horizon. If he gets to 600 yards, that’s another $250,000 payday.”

Check out the video below:

Bourne has 551 receiving yards to his name. He needs another 49 to get that additional $250K.

Fortunately, he’s a 49er.
