Suspended USA Olympic Sprinter & Ex-NFLer Arrested After Car Found In Ditch

An Orlando tow truck driver expected a routine call earlier this month. What he found instead led to an arrest.
The driver arrived to pull a car out of a ditch and discovered the driver passed out behind the wheel, with the engine still running and the car left in gear. Believing the man was intoxicated, the tow truck driver called his employer to get law enforcement involved.
That driver turned out to be none other than Marvin Bracy-Williams. The former Olympic sprinter, already facing serious career trouble, has found himself in another pickle.
Police Say Bracy-Williams Failed Sobriety Testing At The Scene
Officers arrived and found the athlete reeking of alcohol, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.
He failed a field sobriety test on the spot, before police placed him under arrest for driving under the influence. The arrest adds a new legal complication to a year that has already effectively ended his competitive career.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency suspended Mracy-Williams for 12 years back in June following his third anti-doping rule violation.
USADA determined the sanction stemmed from three missed drug tests within a 12-month span, occurring in July 2025, February 2026, and April 2026.
Under USADA’s rules, a third violation carries a penalty ranging from eight years to a lifetime ban. The 12-year suspension announced this year will run consecutively, kicking in only after he completes an earlier 45-month doping ban tied to a separate federal investigation.
His Career Once Reached The Sport’s Highest Levels
That earlier case, resolved in late 2025, stemmed from a whistleblower tip that led to a positive drug test and a federal investigation involving the DEA.
Bracy-Williams later cooperated with investigators, providing what USADA called “substantial assistance” in uncovering additional doping cases. He announced plans to retire from competitive track and field altogether shortly after.
The 32-year-old’s career once reached elite heights, including a semifinal run in the 100-meter dash at the 2016 Rio Olympics and a silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships.
He later joined the Enhanced Games, a controversial new competition that permits performance-enhancing drug use outside traditional testing rules, finishing third in the 100 meters at the event’s inaugural edition in Las Vegas last year.
Bracy-Williams also spent time with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks as a wide receiver (in 2017 and 2018), although he never actually played in a regular season game.
No court date has been publicly announced for the DUI charge.
