The Dallas Cowboys remain one of the most active teams in the 2026 NFL offseason. Following a tumultuous 2025 campaign, the front office made a series of changes to try to return to contention.
After securing the “biggest steal of the offseason,” the Cowboys aren’t done making moves. The upcoming draft could present them with the opportunity to create a terrific wide receiver trio.
On the other hand, they could part ways with one of their star receivers, as the George Pickens saga continues. Reid Hanson of Cowboys Wire named a receiver one of the five most tradeable players on the Cowboys right now.
Dallas Cowboys Advised To Trade KaVontae Turpin

On Monday, Hanson named five potential trade chips for the Lone Star. Turpin, a three-time Pro Bowler, made the mini-list.
“The Cowboys tried to expand Turpin’s role in 2025 and in some ways it worked and in other ways it failed,” Hanson wrote.
“Turpin posted career numbers on offense, but miscues and drops were littered throughout. His return ability also suffered with Turpin collecting uncharacteristic penalties and a perceived loss of confidence along the way.”
Turpin has shared his time between the wide receiver and the special teams units. In 65 games played, he has caught 70 passes for 952 yards and seven touchdowns. He has tallied 624 yards and one touchdown on 70 punt returns, while adding 3,518 yards and one touchdown on 127 kickoff returns.
