If the Philadelphia Eagles decide to move on, All-Pro wide receiver AJ Brown may be the most sought-after trade target this offseason.

During the first half of the 2025 regular season, AJ Brown was the subject of trade speculation. Reports indicated that the relationship between Brown and Jalen Hurts had fractured, despite their vital contributions to the Eagles’ Super Bowl 59 championship-winning season.

Brown didn’t hide his frustrations with the Eagles, either. During a livestream in November, he was asked how things were going. Brown said it was a sh*t show and admitted that he was struggling.

Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton listed the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers as possible landing spots for Brown. Moton proposed a trade idea for each, including one that would see the 49ers send Brandon Aiyuk to Philly for the superstar wideout.

The 28-year-old AJ Brown doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, so the Eagles aren’t obligated to honor any specific requests on his next destination. The bottom line? All signs point to a split in the coming weeks.

Despite missing two games, Brown finished with 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. The Eagles won their second straight NFC East division crown. However, they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card Round.

Still, it’s obvious that things have soured between Brown and the Eagles organization. Head coach Nick Sirianni can still run a quality offense built around Hurts, DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley, without issue.

Brown is still in his prime, and he could easily regain his All-Pro form on another Super Bowl contender that runs a more pass-happy offense. And of course, the Eagles can find a replacement for Brown in free agency or the draft.
