NFL insider Ian Rapoport faces strong accusations from a Fox Sports analyst. The NFL Network insider has starred in several controversies with fellow reporters. More notably, Jordan Schultz got in his face and accused him of spreading misinformation about how he got scoops.
A couple of months ago, ESPN’s Adam Schefter strongly denied a report from Rapoport that said John Harbaugh had lost the Baltimore Ravens’ locker room before the team fired him at the end of the 2025 season.
More recently, an analyst called out Rapoport for not sharing the full details of Travis Kelce’s contract. The Chiefs re-signed Kelce to a three-year, $54.7 million contract, which shocked the world. However, there is a major catch there.
Nick Wright Calls Out Ian Rapoport Over Travis Kelce Report

During Tuesday’s edition of his “What’s Wright? With Nick Wright,” the veteran analyst blasted Ian Rapoport for omitting details of the new Travis Kelce deal.
“I’ve had dinner with this guy. I share an agent with this guy. I have nothing against him personally. Much to the opposite,” Wright said. “But Ian Rapoport’s tweet about Travis Kelce’s contract … this is now the second time in a couple weeks that Rapoport has, via his very popular and followed Twitter account, blatantly misinformed the public.”
Kelce will make a fully guaranteed $12 million in 2026. He would get the veteran’s minimum in 2027 and 2028 under the current deal. If he stays on the roster past June 7, 2027, the Chiefs will be on the hook for $40 million in fully guaranteed money. In that case, they would void the deal and work on a new one with the tight end.
