The Indianapolis Colts will charge again in the 2026 NFL season. After a series of win-now moves during the 2025 season, the AFC South franchise doubled down in the offseason.

They re-signed quarterback Daniel Jones, who led them to the No. 1 seed in the conference at some point last season, while giving wide receiver Alec Pierce a large contract, too. They also made a series of trades involving notable players. Linebacker Zaire Franklin was shipped to Green Bay, while wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. found his way to Pittsburgh.

With Pierce set to take a WR1 role, the Colts need a new receiver to complement their star. The right candidate might be in the NFC West.

Chad Forbes proposed a series of mock trades on Tuesday on X. The podcaster mentioned the Indianapolis Colts as a potential landing spot for Marvin Harrison Jr. after a difficult start to his career with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Colts would send the No. 48 pick in 2026 and a third-round selection in 2027. Harrison could be the right replacement for Pittman, and if he develops into a reliable starter, the Colts would gain many benefits. Harrison has played 29 games in two seasons, catching 103 passes for 1,493 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He entered the league considered the best wide receiver of his class, but after two years, he has failed mightily to live up to those expectations.
