Adam Schefter almost had his entire world turned upside down.
On Tuesday, NFL reporter Easton Freeze took to social media to discuss the Arizona Biltmore hotel and resort and what happened there, which many witnessed. He tagged Schefter and stated the hotel may never release the footage, but many witnesses saw what he did.
According to the NFL reporter, Schefter lost a battle with the stairs, whether going up or down. “Hey@AdamSchefter, the Arizona Biltmore may never release that security footage, but just know there are witnesses to the battle you just lost against that stair. Incredible form,” he said.

Adam Schefter responded by stating how his ACL was spared. “Hope there is video. Want everybody to see how my ACL was spared – barely,” he responded.

That prompted Field Yates, Fantasy Football and NFL Draft analyst for ESPN, to create a hilarious graphic featuring Schefter.

Adam Schefter Is Still Recovering From His Report On Christian Wilkins

ESPN insider Adam Schefter’s credibility was a talking point last month for several reasons. First, fans called him out over a sketchy report on the Maxx Crosby trade.
He was just getting started. One of the biggest stories of last offseason was the Las Vegas Raiders‘ surprise decision to cut star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. He was just one year into a four-year, $110 million contract.
Despite being one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL, he was not signed and sat out the year.
Out of nowhere, Adam Schefter reported that there is significant interest in Wilkins across the NFL. “Free-agent DT Christian Wilkins fully intends to play this season, but still is rehabbing his foot injury, per his agent David Mulugheta,” Schefter wrote on X.
“So far, 26 teams have reached out and are waiting for Wilkins to be ready, and Wilkins is expected to have a new home as soon as he wants.”
He was promptly accused of being the mouthpiece for his agent. “My favorite type of reporting is when media does agent PR work for them,” one person wrote about Schefter.
This is not the first, nor will it be the last, time that Adam Schefter does work for an agent on behalf of their client.
