The New York Giants have another issue to deal with after the Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter situation over the weekend. The NFC East team returned to the field for the OTAs, with both players clearing the air.
However, another issue emerged on Friday when a wide receiver suffered a non-contact injury. Wide receiver Gunner Olszweski went down on Friday, and the team fears he suffered a torn Achilles tendon. ESPN reported that the return specialist underwent further tests to confirm the injury.
He grabbed his right leg after going down in practice while slamming his fist as he was being carted off.
Gunner Olszweski Becomes Third New York Giants Player To Tear Achilles Tendon This Offseason

The Giants have had terrible luck with Achilles injuries this offseason. Olszweski will likely become the third player to suffer a torn Achilles tendon this offseason. Defensive lineman Roy Robettson-Harris and cornerback Thaddeus Dixon sustained the same injury earlier this offseason.
New York still awaits Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton’s returns from injuries. Losing Olszweski, whose area of expertise isn’t catching passes, still hurts.
He returned to the team on a one-year deal this offseason. Last season, he had 24 punt returns for 216 yards.
