Chiefs Could Pair Patrick Mahomes With Explosive 56-TD Wide Receiver

The Kansas City Chiefs might shock the NFL world again this offseason and pair Patrick Mahomes with a star wide receiver. The Chiefs missed the 2025 playoffs after posting a 6-11 record while losing Mahomes to a season-ending knee injury.
They made several moves in the offseason, starting with running back Kenneth Walker III, who is fresh off a Super Bowl MVP-worthy performance. Additionally, they re-signed Travis Kelce for another season. Most of their moves were on the defensive side of the ball, but they could improve the offense with another star.
The Chiefs have lacked consistency in the wide receiver room, but that could change if they pull the trigger on an ambitious move.
Kansas City Chiefs Could Add A.J. Brown In The Offseason

During an appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentioned the possibility of A.J. Brown requesting a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran has starred in multiple rumors during the offseason.
“Yes, I think that has been conveyed at certain points,” Schefter said when asked about the possibility.

The Kansas City Chiefs could be in play for the Eagles’ star, per Perry Miller Carpenter of Heavy. They continue to build around Mahomes, who could be back before expected.
Brown has been linked with a move to the New England Patriots, but it will take some time before it becomes official.
