Eagles Have Replacement For A.J. Brown With 20-TD Wide Receiver

The Philadelphia Eagles decided not to trade A.J. Brown for the time being, but rumors could heat up again in the coming weeks. Several teams, including the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams, showed serious interest in the wide receiver.
Others, such as the Denver Broncos, never reached out to the Eagles. Still, Brown was the talk of the town for multiple weeks, as many fans were convinced he was out of the NFC East team.
After signing Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to a one-year deal, the Eagles look better prepared to face an eventual Brown departure. However, they could make a swing and add another weapon to the wide receiver room soon and be fully ready for life without the Ole Miss product.
Eagles Predicted To Add 20-TD Wide Receiver In 2026 Draft To Replace A.J. Brown

Phil Perry’s latest mock draft on March 17 projects the Philadelphia Eagles to draft Washington Huskies wide receiver Denzel Boston with the No. 23 pick in April’s draft.
“Not running the 40-yard dash at either the combine or the Washington pro day was, as the kids say, a choice,” Perry wrote. “But Boston’s tape is first-round caliber. If the Eagles feel they may lose A.J. Brown in the near future, Boston is a suitable replacement as their ‘X.’”
Boston spent four seasons in Washington, catching 132 passes for 1,781 yards and 20 touchdowns. He unlocked his level in the last two seasons, but he would be a gamble for the Eagles. However, he could emulate a former Washington WR who exceeded expectations after spending a couple of seasons with the Huskies: Puka Nacua.
