The 26-year-old was sentenced to three to ten years in prison in 2023. That is after pleading guilty to driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.

Schultz is reporting that the player made the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA despite his incarceration.

“Former NFL WR Henry Ruggs has graduated from the University of Alabama, completing his degree after being named to the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA during his final semester,” he wrote.

Ruggs was a first-round pick by the Raiders in 2020. He registered 1,716 yards and 24 touchdowns on just 98 receptions in three years with Alabama.

He lasted less than two seasons with Vegas. The wideout caused a fatal crash in November 2021. He killed Tina Tintor, 23, along with her dog in the accident.

Ruggs was driving at 156 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. As a result, he slammed into her car at 127 MPH, resulting in her burning to death.

Cops said his blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

Meanwhile, Henry Ruggs has not given up on football. He is said to be training for a return to the pros once he is released.
