The Denver Broncos’ offense has been mentioned in multiple trade rumors since the end of the 2025 NFL season. The AFC West team secured the No. 1 seed in the conference and hosted the championship game, where the New England Patriots escaped with a 10-7 win.
After the season, coach Sean Payton called out his pass-catchers for failing to secure the ball many times during the campaign. Payton’s words prompted multiple rumors about an offense overhaul in the spring.
For example, they have been linked with a move for a $69 million Pro Bowl tight end after Evan Engram failed to shine. Additionally, they could add a five-time Pro Bowl running back to replace J.K. Dobbins, who suffered a season-ending injury in November.
Denver Broncos Could Land Justin Jefferson In Blockbuster Trade

On Friday, Heavy’s Tony Adame floated the idea of the Denver Broncos making a swing for Justin Jefferson’s services. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is one of the two best in his position, and the Vikings’ QB situation doesn’t help him. Adame thinks the Broncos should take advantage of the situation.
“There’s a simple offer for the Vikings that would be hard for them to turn down — their 2026 and 2027 1st round picks and wide receiver Courtland Sutton,” he wrote.
Sutton comes off a decent season. He posted 74 receptions for 1,017 yards and seven touchdowns. Jefferson recorded 84 receptions for 1,048 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2025, playing with three different quarterbacks.
He went off in 2024, racking up 104 receptions for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching from Sam Darnold. Now, the Denver Broncos and Bo Nix could offer him the chance to play for a team with a clear direction.
